Question Six: What have you learnt about technologies from the process of making this product?

I learnt a lot by making my final film, this include:

1.)Working with a cam corder and tripod:
When using the camcorder and tripod I have learnt the best ways to keep a sequence interesting by moving the camera a lot and having different angles of shots to keep the audience entertained. Shoots like the over the shoulder shot gives our film more dimetion and make it more understadable for the audience. Also we used different angel shoots . The high-angle shot and the low-angle shot helped us a lot to represnt the dominance of the dealer over the girl. I have also learnt the importance of close-ups in film. The tripod helped us to hold the focus on somthing easier. We did some shoots with out the tripod for example we filmed our two main character walking by having the camera in front of the character as they walk. We tried to hold the camcorder still and do not shake lot around but the footage looked still tacky and wobbly.

2.)Editing:
Editing is the process where the film come to gether. Becaue I never done a film before everything was a new experience for me. We used a program called Corel Video Studio Pro x3 to edit my film. Also we edit titels, special effects, music and sounds to our film with the programm.

3.) Problems during the filming:
We had a couple of problems while starting with our first footage. Wheather problems prevent us to beginn the filming. Wind and rain had bad effects on the audio quality.
Trough this fact we learned to check the weather before filming.
Also walkers and cyklers became sometimes a small problem when they walked or ride through our camera image. We learned that it is better to work on a derelict space to work without being disturbed.
