Question One: In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge the conventions of real media products?

My media product is a crime-gangster film. In this type of genre it is typical that the plot is based on live of an criminal. So we tried to creat a story line which could happend in real life. I looked at different films to get a better idea what a typical crime-gangster plot is about. After my research I take notice that these types of films are usualy full off people with strange storrys, this people are usally mans.  You can find drug dealers, morders and biguilers in every crime or gangster film.
My film is about a dealer (Oskar) who cells dope. He get in trouble with a girl (Catherine) when she want to have her money back.
The settings of our film are a mayor roll. Before we begin to start our filming we searched for good places which woul represent our genre best. To keep our convention we tried to let our settings look like we would be in a big city. For this we tried to find dirty places full of graffity.and lots of mess.
I think we keeped our genre quite well because we done a good story line before we beginn to start with our filming. We tried to keep the dialogs simple short and rude to let the acters sounds more like proper
 gangster.
